After a week of rumors that Trump might be dead, he offered proof of life (and Epstein distraction) by bombing a speed boat on Tuesday.
Lawler jumped on the bandwagon almost immediately without any facts other than those presented by the “Trump War Room.”
I think it should worry us that our Representative in Congress finds time to follow the Trump War Room: “The official War Room account of President Donald J. Trump’s political operation. This account punches back 47x harder.” A site that puts out thoughtful analysis like this:

For starters, Marco Rubio said on Wednesday that the boat was “probably headed to Trinidad or some other country in the Caribbean,” not the U.S. And the conservative Wall Street Journal reported on the many legitimate questions about both the legality and the level of intelligence for the strike:

Lawler loves fight club. All in on bombing Yemen, Iran, and Gaza while dismantling the State Department. Bombing suspicious speed boats headed for Trinidad without warning or transparency. Stoking fears and deploying U.S. troops in U.S. cities, while reducing federal dollars to those same cities. And most importantly, saluting Hulkmania:
MAGA must project strength. Trump calls himself “a war hero.” His new Secretary of War Pete Hegseth chants “lethality, lethality, lethality. Everything else is gone.” Looking forward to a UFC fight on the White House lawn next July 4th to celebrate 250 years of independence. MAGA male fragility?

And now, tens of millions will be spent rebranding the Department of Defense as the Department of War, to reflect a new offensive posture. Dollars taken from public health, education, cultural institutions, the diplomatic corps, the states, US AID, Voice of America, Public Broadcasting . . . . Offensive indeed.
